Satellier always tell in Press and other places that they are making good profits, if its really true then why there is Layoff of more than 200 Employees in last six months... As a previous employee, I know the capability of satellier. Its looks great from outside but its capabilities are very weak practically. I had never seen any project been completed 100% in last 1 yr. in satellier.Presentations of satellier is quite good compare to other companies to clients. But once the intiall payment is recieved to satellier from client, then they just dont care about the completion of project. They are always looking for new client in one way or the other. Satellier even dont care about the quality of the projects done....if any points are been raised by the client then instead of solving them they try to find out the reason like ( lack of information from client as well, etc). If they try to solve any issues regarding quality they charge client for that. Before an Year Satellier opened new offices in New York, Calcutta, Hong Kong, London and recently Dubai. and employeed more than 400 employees to get a FUNDS From Sequoia Capital. Once Satellier got the funds of 10 Mill. $, offices like New York, Calcutta, Hong Kong were shuttered down. More than 50 Employees Lost their job in Calcutta office. And thereafter they started layoffs in Nov 2008 in Noida office too. They were not even given any compensations initially as Satellier HR were telling that company is lack of funds. However some of them been paid compensation after 4 months of their layoff and some didn't got anything yet. Other international offices have only 2 to 3 employees as marketing people and Now there are only 80 EMployees left in Satellier Noida office, out of which many are trying to change the company. I dont know whether my comments will be posted here or not but its practically true. And every one should be aware of Satellier and its work flow process which is not in favour of any employee or client. Kind Regards, from Previous Satellier Employee
